Suber Family

Jonathan & Stephanie Suber both heard the call of God at early ages, even though they came from very different backgrounds.

Being in church is all Jonathan has ever known! Jonathan’s upbringing in a ministerial family taught him many invaluable lessons about the practical side of ministry, such as church work, pastoral duties, and serving his community. His parents imparted to him the value of prayer, honoring your word, and giving everything to God. By leaving their successful church in Arkansas to work on the mission field in Africa, their actions spoke more than their words could ever convey: complete submission to God’s will is our highest calling and our most reasonable service.

On the other hand, Stephanie’s childhood was completely different! Yet, it also prepared her in a unique way to be paired with Jonathan to fulfill the calling God had placed on their lives. Although Stephanie’s paternal grandparents were old-time Pentecostal preachers, her dad was not in the ministry. Through her training of “life on the pew”, she brings a practical perspective to their ministry. She knows what it’s like to see parents work full-time jobs and yet, make time for church services and activities. Her house was always open for the youth group for fun and fellowship even though her parents weren’t “on staff” or paid for their time. She learned the value of a hard day’s work and the importance of being at church every service no matter what.

When the Subers were introduced in April of 1987, they had no idea they would be married less than six months later! Again, complete submission…God’s timing, not ours.
They have fulfilled the calling of God in many different roles. They have been used as pastors, evangelists, and teachers prophetically proclaiming what many are calling the New Apostolic Reformation.

Jonathan and Stephanie are Senior Pastors at Faith Tabernacle New Testament Church, Shreveport, LA. They have traveled extensively throughout the United States and around the world, conducting revivals, conferences and healing crusades on five continents. They lived in Calcutta, India for six months while they helped pioneer a work there that is now thriving. They also did two separate four-month missionary tours through the Caribbean and Central & South America.

Jonathan learned to speak French fluently during his time in West Africa and for two years had a French radio broadcast that went around the world. He has written a booklet entitled, “Dominion Praying” and has captured many of his teaching series on CD. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Ministry through Wagner Leadership University. He assists in Pastoral duties at PromiseLand while continuing to travel, teach, and preach, seeing hundreds of souls and bodies set free from the curse of sin and death. He has also served on varied boards, ranging from world evangelism to orphanages.

Stephanie stays busy home-schooling three kids and trying to find time to do other great stuff like ministry work and scrapbooking. She has written two books, Growing in God's Garden, and “My View from the Kitchen Sink.”  She wrote all of the songs on her praise and worship CD “Psalms” and is currently working on another all original CD entitled, “Altars Songs of Intimacy.” She is known as a humorous and “down to earth” teacher and speaker who brings simplicity to the search for God.

Jonathan, Stephanie and their children are getting settled and are doing well. They covet your prayers and support! This task is too big for them to tackle alone! They cannot complete the mission without your support. Thank you.
